Basketball can save the world

A college course by Prof. David Hoolander – which later became an essay (How Basketball Can Save The World, Mondadori) – started in 2019 with 28 students, exploded during the pandemic reaching a record 157 enrolled in the first semester of 2022, complete with waiting lists, VIP guests at classes – including Kevin Durant – and praise articles in the New York Times and Washington Post.
